Regina L. Hockaday, Artistic Director, became serious about Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior when seven months pregnant. Single mother of “the greatest Christmas gift ever” ‘Jah’. Graduated from The National Conservatory of the Dramatic Arts, Washington, DC in 1988. She has served with the St. John Christian Power Center Ministries since 1988, and was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel. She has been affiliated with faith-based theater arts since 1990, and has served in many different facets where needed, in front of, as well as behind the stage.
Elnora V. Howard, mother, grandmother, Church Missionary, Trustee Chairperson and faithful laborer. She also holds the position of Secretary of Regal One. She is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia, with a B.Sc in Business Education, and was featured in “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges”. She has worked faithfully in the federal government for over 30 years. Ms. Howard is a fantastic mother, grandmother and friend, but above all a committed Christian.
I. Christina Hughes, became a Christian as a young child. She has worked in accounting for many years and serves as Treasurer. She loves God with all of her heart and uses her managerial gift for His service. She is a devoted mother to her extremely talented son Chris, a talented dancer and an astute business woman.
Rev. Cornell R. Hughes, Bishop and Overseer of the St. John Christian Power Center Ministries for over 2 decades. The father of a blended family of 9 children, 14 grand children, a niece and a nephew raised in his home. As a person who has experience great suffering, his life’s mission is to serve and minister to the hurting and hopeless.
Rev. Angela A. Hughes, Pastor of St. John Christian Power Center, a mother to 9 children, Grandmother of 14, a niece, and nephew raised in her home, as well as a host of other nieces and nephews outside of her home. She is a prolific Evangelist, with a heart for the broken and abused. Her mission is to help and to give hope any way she can, to whoever she can.
Jah Eboni Broyles, newly-elected as Director, is a student at the University of the District of Columbia. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Jah has been affiliated with the theater since age 3, and has performed with Evangel Cathedral, Sister’s Circle Theater, God’s Best Productions, The Boys and Girls club of Greater DC, as well as Regal One. A talented writer, her sight set for a career in Journalism.
